Naija Ratels and Robo Queens will battle for a vital three points on Wednesday (today) at the Bwari Township Stadium in Abuja in a match that could define the final Super Six line-up in Group B of the 2024/25 NWFL Premiership season.

With just three matchdays left in the regular season, the stakes have never been higher. The Queens currently occupy the final super six qualification spot in Group B with 19 points, while Naija Ratels trail closely in fourth place with 16 points. A win for the Abuja-based side would blow the race wide open heading into the final two games of the season.

Bayelsa Queens presently top the group and have already secured a super six spot with 29 points, while second-placed Rivers Angels are also through with 26.

Robo Queens come into this fixture knowing that anything less than a draw could put their super six hopes in jeopardy, especially with tough fixtures still to come, as they travel to Uyo next to face Ibom Angels.

Rivers Angels will entertain Delta Queens in Port Harcourt in the south-south derby filled with rivalry. Rivers, second in Group B, have only dropped points at home once, while Delta are chasing their first away win of the season.

In Yola, Adamawa Queens face the daunting task of hosting the unbeaten Bayelsa Queens. The visitors have been dominant all season and will look to maintain their perfect record. For Adamawa, currently second bottom of Group B, any points gained would confirm their survival, provided that Benue Queens do not pick up a point against Ibom Angels in Lafia.

In Group A, Confluence Queens will host Abia Angels at the Confluence Stadium in Anyigba. The hosts are languishing at the bottom end of the table with little more than pride to play for, while Angels will hope to gain more ground on Nasarawa Amazons.

Ekiti Queens face a resurgent Nasarawa Amazons side chasing a top-three finish in Group A at their adopted home ground in Ibadan. The match holds special weight as Amazons sit third with 24 points, five ahead of Abia Angels. A win would consolidate their super six claim, while defeat could open the door for the Angels.

Heartland Queens will welcome second-placed Remo Stars Ladies to Owerri in what promises to also be a tense clash, as the sky blue ladies chase their maiden appearance in the finals. Edo Queens will aim to stay top of Group A when they host relegation-threatened Dannaz Ladies at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.

Dannaz will need an upset to end the unbeaten run of the defending champions, who currently lead with 29 points, four ahead of Remo Stars.
